Marquette Bank's 4th Annual Adopt-a-Classroom Prize Drawing awards 25 local classrooms $200 gift cards for school supplies

Orland Park, IL (October 22, 2012) –– Marquette Bank, a locally-owned neighborhood bank, recently wrapped up its 4th annual Adopt-a-Classroom Prize Drawing. Customers, teachers and neighbors were able to enter the drawing for a chance to win a $200 Marquette Bank gift card used to benefit a local K-12 classroom of their choice.

Winners were chosen at random from the entries at each of the 23 Marquette Bank locations, as well as two winners from Marquette Bank employee submissions. A total of 25 $200 Marquette Bank gift cards were awarded to local classrooms. Many teachers purchased school supplies, books, art supplies or equipment for their classrooms, while some said they would use the prize money for field trips or to buy special learning materials.

“One of the main focuses of Marquette Bank’s Neighborhood Commitment is education,” Betty Kosky-Harn, Executive Vice President of Marquette Bank, said. “The Adopt-a-Classroom Prize Drawing is an excellent way for us to give back to our local students, teachers and schools.”
