• Marquette Bank Launches 11th Onsite Banking Services Location with Senior Star at Weber Place
    Neighborhood bank teams up with Romeoville senior living community to expand financial access

    Orland Park, IL (January 7, 2013) – Marquette Bank, a locally-owned neighborhood bank, has announced an agreement with Senior Star at Weber Place, located at 605 S. Edward Drive in

    Romeoville, to provide onsite banking services to residents and staff. Since 2004, the bank has been partnering with Chicagoland senior living communities to conveniently bring weekly access and financial services to community residents right where they live. Senior Star at Weber Place becomes the 11th partner in this outreach effort.

     

    “Marquette Bank is always looking for to the best ways to reach out to the local communities we serve,” Susan McVicker, Assistant Vice President & Regional Manager, said. “The elderly population is an important part of the community and we strive to make their banking experience as easy as possible. We’re happy to bring banking to those residents who do not drive or do not want to drive in bad weather.”

     

    Marquette Bank will visit the senior living community every Thursday morning for two hours from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. beginning on Thursday, Jan. 24th. The bank will provide personal banking services, including: account opening, check cashing, deposits/withdrawals, cashier checks, money orders, postage stamps, traveler’s checks, gift cards and notary/signature guarantees. Financial planning, trust services and estate planning will also be available by appointment. Residents will also be eligible to join the Marquette Club which is the bank’s social and travel club.

    • Church View Supportive Living Community in Chicago: Fridays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    • Edenbridge Fulton Senior Living in Tinley Park: Wednesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
    • Hanover Senior Living in Tinley Park: Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    • Mays Lake Village in Oak Brook: Mondays from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.            
    • Oak Forest Horizon Senior Living: 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  
    • Senior Suites of Bridgeport in Chicago: Wednesdays from 11a.m. to 12 p.m.
    • Senior Suites of Garfield Ridge in Chicago: Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
    • Smith Crossing in Orland Park: Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    • Smith Village in Chicago: Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

     

    Marquette Bank regularly sponsors special events and hosts educational seminars onsite for residents. In the past, the bank has presented workshops on identity theft, estate planning, financial planning and social security.
