Marquette Bank Celebrates National Financial Literacy MonthNeighborhood bank offers financial educational opportunities for customers and neighbors during Financial Literacy Month
Orland Park, IL (March 27, 2013) – Marquette Bank, a locally-owned neighborhood bank, is doing its part in raising awareness of financial literacy by hosting seminars and offering personal financial reviews to local residents throughout the month of April in honor of National Financial Literacy Month. “Hosting financial literacy classes builds the foundation for our customers to begin their path towards healthy financial well-being,” Sandy Turner, Community Relations Officer, said. “It is Marquette Bank’s top priority to educate our neighbors in all aspects of financial literacy from managing their checkbook to owning their first home.” Through its commitment to financial literacy, the bank also partners with community institutions such as schools, churches, libraries and community organizations to offer free financial educational opportunities for local residents related to money management, savings, budgeting, retirement, estate planning and home financing.
