Marquette Bank Employees Pack Lunches for South Suburban PADSNeighborhood bank employees help feed homeless through food donations and volunteering
Orland Park, IL (March 19, 2013) – Marquette Bank, a locally-owned neighborhood bank, partnered with South Suburban PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter) from Oct. 2012 through April 2013 to provide free lunches for those in need. Each week, a different Marquette Bank branch packed 75 lunch bags with a sandwich, drink, fruit and snack and delivered them to South Suburban PADS. In addition to preparing the lunches, other Marquette Bank employees contributed by purchasing and donating food for the lunches. “Marquette Bank employees have been working with South Suburban PADS since 2008 and our partnership has allowed us to make a difference in many lives,” Betty Kosky-Harn, Executive Vice President, said. South Suburban PADS is an organization that provides shelter and support services to the homeless in the south suburbs. Marquette Bank encourages local community members to help make a difference and donate to South Suburban PADS online at www.sspads.org or call 1-708-754-4357 to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
