Marquette Bank to Hold Annual Neighborhood Appreciation WeekLocal bank encourages local residents to participate in free appreciation events June 15-22
Orland Park, IL (June 6, 2013) –– Marquette Bank, a locally-owned neighborhood bank, will be holding its annual Customer and Neighbor Appreciation Week from June 15 - 22. To help kick off the week, the bank will be holding several neighborhood events, including a pet adoption and pet drive event in Oak Forest, a kids party in Orland Park and a neighborhood summer kickoff party in New Lenox. Saturday, June 15 is also “Switch to Neighborhood Banking Day” at all Marquette Bank locations. Neighbors are encouraged to become a part of the local banking movement to help strengthen the local economy. Stop in at any Marquette Bank location for new customer specials and free credit history reports.
Throughout Customer and Neighbor Appreciation Week, all 23 Marquette Bank locations will be serving refreshments and providing games and activities for kids. As part of Marquette Bank’s 6th annual neighborhood food drive, the bank will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items at all branch locations to benefit local food pantries and neighborhood food banks served by the Greater Chicago Food Depository and Northern Illinois Food Bank.Marquette Bank will be holding a “Love Where You Bank Prize Drawing” for a chance to win a $250 Marquette Bank gift card. Marquette Bank’s Customer and Neighbor Appreciation Week will also feature free on-site document shredding at several locations on Saturday, June 15 and Saturday, June 22. Customers can help prevent identity theft by shredding old statements, bills and other confidential paperwork. Document shredding will be available at the following locations:
Saturday, June 15 – 10 a.m. to Noon
Saturday, June 22 – 10 a.m. to Noon
The bank will also be holding free electronics disposals throughout the week. Bring in your old electronics for safe disposal. Take small items, like cell phones, to any branch all week long. For large items, come to our drop-off day. Bring anything with a cord. All hard drives will be destroyed.
