We are very excited to announce that we are just days away from introducing our new Online Banking & Bill Payment systems. As we mentioned in our prior communications, our new systems will be safe and secure, easy to use, while offering all the basic services you have become accustomed to, yet offering a number of new features and enhancements. Our new Online Banking & Bill Payment systems were designed specifically to save you time, effort and money in managing your personal finances. Once you have had an opportunity to log in and try it out for yourself, we are confident that you will be pleased…and yes, it’s still free.
The following information contains important date and access information about our new Online Banking & Bill Payment systems – please carefully read it thoroughly.
Temporary Online Banking & Online Bill Payment Service Limitations (While We Switch Systems)
Our Online Banking system will be unavailable for customer access while we switch systems from Thursday, November 10th at 6 p.m. until Monday, November 14th. If you plan to conduct any online banking transactions, please do so before 6 p.m. on November 10th. Keep in mind that while our Online Banking system is temporarily unavailable you may obtain account information by using our Teller-Phone system (dial 1-888-254-9500 or 1-708-226-8026).
Our Online Bill Payment system will also be unavailable for customer access from Wednesday, November 9th at 6 p.m. until Monday, November 14th. Please be sure to schedule your payments prior to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9th. Bill Payments scheduled for payment while the system is “unavailable to access” will be processed. Please note that during the “unavailable to access” period you will not be able to access the Online Bill Payment system to make any changes.
On Monday, November 14th you will be able to access our new Online Banking system by visiting our website at www.emarquettebank.com and clicking on any of the Online Banking links. Please note, if you have previously been using your browser’s favorites to access our Online Banking system directly, you will need to update your favorites.
Logging into Online Banking (First Time)
During your initial log in you will be prompted to select a PassMark® image file of your choice. This is part of the normal first time log in process. PassMark is a new security feature that is designed to better protect the confidentiality of your information and protect against fraud. Your PassMark image will only be presented whenever you log in to let you know that you’re entering our Online Banking site. Please remember the image you select and look for it whenever you are logging on. As part of the PassMark security feature you’ll also be asked to select three “challenge” questions and provide answers to these questions. Challenge questions are used in PassMark to verify your identity to Online Banking. Your answers to these questions are an alternative verification method. You’ll find the added security PassMark feature to be easy to setup and will only take a couple of minutes of your time.
We have developed an illustrated guide to assist you in logging in for the first time. This guide provides a good step-by-step walk through on how to log in along with examples and information on logging in, setting up your log in password and PassMark credentials. Quicken Windows & Mac users – if you currently download your Quicken data from our Online Banking system, please be careful not to overlap your transactions by downloading the same data from our old system and then again from our new system. We recommend that you read our instructions carefully prior to performing your first download from our new Online Banking system. Also, if you currently have Quicken update your data through “Express Web Connect” this feature will not be active until 2-3 business days after November 14th.
