Downloading Online Banking Data

Q: How can I access my Online Banking data using Quicken personal finances application like Money or Quicken version 2005 or later?
A: To setup and/or access your Online Banking data, please consult your application's instructions (instructions vary by product version). For additional information or support, please contact Intuit via your application's menu item titled "Product and Customer Support."
Q: How can I access my Online Banking data using Quicken personal finances application like Money or Quicken version 2004 or earlier?
A: Follow these steps when downloading your financial data to Quicken or Money:
  1. Log onto the Internet banking system (via "My Accounts" page)
  2. Select which account you wish to access and then the date range to view balance information.
  3. Towards the bottom of this page you'll see a select file type drop down menu option. Select one of the following:
    1. Money (OFC)
    2. Open Financial Exchange (OFX)
    3. Quicken 99 or Later (QIF)
    4. Quicken 99 or Earlier (QIF)
  4. Click the "Download Data" button.
  5. Next a file download box will appear. Select "Save" and when prompted to choose a location on your hard disk or floppy disk to save the file - most people select the "My Documents" folder located on the "C" drive. It doesn't matter where the file is saved so long as you remember where it has been saved. Press the "SAVE" button and your file will be saved.
  6. Log off the Internet banking system.
  7. Access your Quicken or Money application.
  8. Back up your Quicken or Money data file.
  9. If you are importing the data from a floppy disk, insert the disk in a disk drive.
  10. Choose File menu > Import > QIF, OFC or OFX file.
  11. Enter the name of the file name and location to import data from.
  12. Make sure you have selected account you want to import your Internet banking data file into.
