Marquette Bank and Toy Box Connection help to brighten up the holiday for childrenNeighborhood bank and non-profit provide toys to children in local shelter
Orland Park, IL (December 28, 2012) – Marquette Bank, a locally-owned neighborhood bank, partnered with Toy Box Connection this holiday season as a part of the Marquette Neighborhood Commitment. Through this partnership, the Toy Box Connection supplied gifts for a Holiday Celebration at Clara’s House in Chicago while the Bank collected toys for the charity during the Bank’s 3rd annual Neighborhood Toy Drive. This is the 4th year Marquette Bank employees, along with Santa, have hosted a holiday event for the clients staying at Clara’s House. This year, gifts are toys were presented to over 40 children residing at the shelter during the holiday season. “We are always looking to partner with non-profits and local community groups throughout the year,” said Betty Kosky-Harn, Executive Vice President. “This is the third year we have worked with the Toy Box Connection to coordinate distribution of donated toys during the holiday season.” Marquette Bank’s partnership with the Toy Box Connection is part of the Marquette Neighborhood Commitment where each quarter the Bank focuses on a different area of need – shelter, hunger, education and health/wellness.
